Is that time travel or just evidence for a very long lived civilization
on Mars? 42 "months" of 15/16 sols each would cover a martian year, so
the article would be written in either the last or the next-to-last day
of the year.

(Actually, wikipedia [1] says that there was a proposal for 16 months of
42/41 sols each, but that would imply that the advanced civilization on
mars is using a mixed-endian sistem of writing dates, and those are just
wrong)
