如何才可以讓Afterstep正常顯示中文？

最近windowmaker不行了，自己下載了源碼編譯也都不行，動不動就崩潰了。
想轉而用afterstep,可是標題欄無法顯示中文，比較鬱悶，有誰知道該怎麼做嗎？

我搜了google，linuxforum,linuxsir，都沒有相關的解答。
