Bug#511592: marked as done (S390 Install Unable to find Disks)

This is an initial install.

 

Built an IPL tape and all proceeds well until the Configure process asks for disk devices.  See below:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The IODF contains:

 

IODEVICE ADDRESS=(108E,002),                                  *

               CUNUMBR=(E011,E012,E013,E014,E015,E016,E017,E018),      *

               STADET=Y,PARTITION=((CSS(0),PGCLINUX,CF01)),UNIT=3390

 

However, the installer will not accept 108E or 108F.   These volumes have bee initialized with ICKDSF VTOC(OPENDISK).

thank you for your installation-report you send quite some time ago.

Quite probably your issue has been addressed by now, if it hasn't please open 
a new bug report, so that we can re-investigate the issue.
