Bug#685801: Wheezy can't boot on netbook

Package: installation-reports

I built the following live iso-hybrid from http://live-build.debian.net:

distribution: wheezy
package-lists: kde
architectures: i386
bootstrap-flavour: standard
linux-flavours: 486
bootappend: locales=de_DE.UTF-8 keyboard-layout=de timezone=Europe/Berlin

Then I copied the iso-hybrid file to an USB stick and booted my Asus EeePC 1015BX netbook. I saw the first screen (where you could enter the boot options), pressed the return key, Wheezy begins to start (I saw the some lines of the boot process) but than hang up with a black screen. When I switch to another console (Alt+F2 key) the screen is almost black with some casual white lines but no text or command prompt.

Debian Stable (Squeeze) works fine on my netbook.

If you need further information please let me know.

Best wishes
Oliver
