[Accessibility] Is the speed of the speech synthesizer user-friendly?

Hello guys,

one short note:
for my ears the speed of the speech synthesizer is way to fast,
I have problems following the text.
Is this setting intended?
Is it user-friendly for those of us, who need it?
Maybe there could be two keyboard shortcuts for slower/faster?
