merge 656710 530784 stop This is actually the same issue, just that the patch provided here is more general: it does not interfere with any normal operation in case no passphrase is preseeded. There is still an issue with preseeding multiple encrypted partitions, but it is a different one: with the previous patch, all partitions would get the same passphrase. Here, the first partition gets the preseeded passphrase and the user is prompted for all encrypted partitions after that.
