Comments/Problems:

During installation of Debian 6.0 via Netinstall-CD the installation process freezes every time it comes to detecting the network cards. The freeze comes without any error messages or warnings (e.g. network hardware is unsupported).

The T42 includes an ethernet and a wlan card (see extract of lspci).

I tried to install with and without ethernet pluged in (that is connecting internet via an access point with dhcp by ethernet). In both cases the system crashes detecting the network hardware. I also tried different installation modes (normal, expert, gui installer).

(The machine info is provided by the current Debian 5 installation.)
