Comments/Problems:
Overall install was very good.

After install, I had problems with automounting of USB sticks in Gnome. Gnome was trying to mount them as a CDROM drive. The problem was the /etc/fstab file left by the installer.

# /etc/fstab: static file system information.
#
# Use 'vol_id --uuid' to print the universally unique identifier for a
# device; this may be used with UUID= as a more robust way to name devices
# that works even if disks are added and removed. See fstab(5).
#
# <file system> <mount point>  <type> <options>    <dump> <pass>
proc      /proc      proc  defaults    0    0
# / was on /dev/sda1 during installation
UUID=618d3c71-f02d-47d4-a0ba-9cc456517e61 /        ext4  errors=remount-ro 0    1
# swap was on /dev/sda5 during installation
UUID=53aaef30-f32e-4576-ac50-e30f7701d0e8 none      swap  sw       0    0
/dev/sdb1    /media/cdrom0  udf,iso9660 user,noauto   0    0

The /dev/sdb1 entry was presumably entered by the installer and should have been removed on completion of the install. The Acer Aspire One has no CDROM.
