Package: grub-pc
Version: 1.96+20090808-1
Severity: normal

Hi,
os-prober finds the following OS on my system:
# os-prober
/dev/hda1:Microsoft Windows XP dition familiale:Windows:chain

....in french... with an e acute encoded in iso-latin-1.

Then, the corresponding entry built by update-grub has an accent in the title
(see grub.cfg). Unfortunately, grub ignores this entry at boot time!

Regards.
