Could you please try images from http://www.debian.org/devel/debian-installer and take care to use the "daily builds"? The way D-I images are built is fairly hard to explain in details, but at this very moment, I would believe only those images, which are built with the udebs from unstable, are really working as expected. To other D-I people: we need to sort this out. I haven't tested myself but I suspect most images are currently failing (see the recent reports about the graphical installer failing while I successfully boot images I buid locally). We really need to warn our users about this in order to avoid many failure install reports such as this one...
