Package: installation-reports

The attached installation logs were stored via the menu option "Save debug logs" to the USB pendrive, after mounting it to /media.

Boot method: USB
Image version: http://ftp.nl.debian.org/debian/dists/testing/main/installer-amd64/current/images/hd-media/boot.img.gz, http://cdimage.debian.org/cdimage/daily-builds/daily/arch-latest/amd64/iso-cd/debian-testing-amd64-businesscard.iso
Date: Mon 2009-Sep-28

Machine: Homemage AMD64
Processor: AMD Athlon64
Memory: 2GB
Partitions: cannot see, but I use something like /boot (ext3, 100MB, bootable) for kernel and grub-stuff, / (ext3, 10GB) for the system, and /data (ext3, 80GB) for home directories and such stuff.

Output of lspci -knn (or lspci -nn): attached

Comments/Problems: Iso-scan is unable to find the provided ISO image on the USB device.

I have set up the USB pendrive as follows:

>>>>>
dev='/dev/disk/by-id/usb-PNY_ATTACHE_PRO_07750E180008-0:0';

curl 'http://ftp.nl.debian.org/debian/dists/testing/main/installer-amd64/current/images/hd-media/boot.img.gz' | gunzip > "$dev";
mount "$dev" /media/usb;
pushd /media/usb;
curl -O 'http://cdimage.debian.org/cdimage/daily-builds/daily/arch-latest/amd64/iso-cd/debian-testing-amd64-businesscard.iso';
popd
umount "$dev";
<<<<<

I have installed Debian/Testing to the same machine from USB pendrive some time ago, i.e., when testing was "lenny".

Can anyone help me, please?

Regards,
Stefan
