Could be something very good to do yes: In short: if the committed file is foo.po then put it through msgfmt and fail if the exit code is non zero. Anyone feeling like implementing this (I don't fel comfortable in setting up a pre-commit hook that will, by definition, affect commits for the entire SVN repository)?
