Download time is also one of the worries I have about this update.

Another worry I want to share with you, is "leaving stable".

I think it is a good thing to make "stable plus security updates"
the default. But we should learn our users to actual update their
computer.

Doing an update at install time without prompting is NOT user-friendly.
Two reasons why it isn't:
* CDROM users are expecting an install from CDROM,
they don't expect a download from the Internet
* The enforced download doesn't educate user to update thier computer,
it gets them the wrong impression that an install is the way to go to
  get a system up-to-date.

Having "stable plus security updates" is a good thing,
but please don't keep it hidden for users of stable.

Cheers
