well, i merely wanted to avoid a (implied) false impression of 'because
of lme maintainers, d-i can't use 2.6.25' by readers of this mail,
that's all.
each kernel iteration takes several days until everything left NEW,
which is the actual bottleneck in this case, not the maintainers.
