The gnome-desktop-environment depends on epiphany-browser (>= 1.8.5) | galeon (>= 1.3.1 8) | firefox-gnome-support | mozilla-firefox-gnome-support 1.8.5 is a newer version of epiphany-browser than is available in testing (1.8.3-4), so aptitude falls back to the alternate, galeon. This should clear itself up once a newer epiphany-browser reaches testing. OTOH, I think that the gnome-desktop-environment dependency is also asking for trouble in putting galeon as the first alternate for epiphany-browser here; I suggest moving firefox-gnome-support closer to the front of the alternatives list. -- see shy jo
