That's a good feature I believe, did not mean to raise priority here, I rather 
wanted to adress that when say a debian ftp mirror (or local http mirror) is 
consiously chosen to avoid a mandatory http proxy to the outside world, the 
security server is still accessed with http only directly.

Thinking about a suggestion it would be nice if the option to enter a proxy 
could be available upon failure if not before http usage, so that a valid 
security source could be generated.
