The $ht used in the case statement. I have no clue how to do that but
its neccessay.

On i386 I get:
% uname -m
x86_64

Yes it is. A kernel-image-2.6.8-amd64 is in the works for i386. Since
you need to upload a new version anyway check how to force the ARCH to
the right thing.
