Hi,

Thanks for your question.  You had me doubting (though IIRC I did wait a 
reasonable length of time the first time) and so I tried again.  It's 
been 20 minutes and counting.  I'll leave it running for a while longer 
though, since you have a good point, I have no evidence it has hung, it 
might just be very slow for some reason.  I'll let you know if it does 
eventually get there.

Could it also be that it is trying to display elsewhere - ie other than 
on the serial console it displays boot messages with?  Just a thought.
