sparc d-i boot error

I hooked up a serial console so I could capture the messages as I
tried to boot from my handbuilt boot cd. (d-i cvs as of a couple of
days ago.) The interesting part of it is below. If I am interpreting
it correctly, it mounts the initrd as root, then tries to mount root
via nfs which fails, tries to mount root on floppy that fails, then
panics. This looks like it may be a kernel problem.

With Microsoft, failure is not an option. It is a standard feature.
