Already reported as bug #177454.

Already reported as bug #180976 and fixed.

You can work around the first by using ext2, and the second by
starting the shell and executing

 cd /var/lib/dpkg
 sed 's/^ $//' status.udeb >status.new
 cp status.new status.udeb

.  The second is fixed in the latest image.
