Testing the 2.1.7 on a fresh never used harddisk with partitioning /dev/hda1 196M DOS /dev/hda2 2G NT /dev/hda5 2G Linux (Root) /dev/hda6 125M Swap /dev/hda7 1.9G DOS /dev/hda8 1G Linux (Home) 2.3G free on a 10Gig harddisk gives after selecting "Make Linux Bootable Directly From Hard Disk" the mono/color screen and on terminal 3: Root=/dev/hda5 pid 18 exited, status=b What could I do to test this further? Nils -- Plug-and-Play is really nice, unfortunately it only works 50% of the time. To be specific the "Plug" almost always works. --unknown source
