It is used by Skolelinux.

I've done a lot of changes to this package in the Skolelinux CVS. I
hope to merge this with the version in Debian CVS as soon as possible.
I will have to wait until Tollef returns from his holiday.

This is our changelog since 0.02, and I have some more changes left in
my copy of the source.

autopartkit (0.13) unstable; urgency=low

  * NOT RELEASED YET.
  * Use autopartkit_log() to print debug output.
  * New helper program dumptable to test the table loading.
  * Make it possible to drytest the automatic partitioning.

autopartkit (0.12) unstable; urgency=low

  * Added SCSI-support in normalize_devfs().
  * Made autopartkit_log() a printf() replacement.
  * Rename MINSIZE_FACTOR to FAT_MINSIZE_FACTOR to reflect its use.
  * New function normalize_requirements() to make sure minsize <= maxsize,
    and that root (/) is the first entry in the table of requirements.
  * Code cleanup, moving some code into new function get_device_path().

autopartkit (0.11) unstable; urgency=low

  * Make sure /target/etc/ exists to avoid crashing when writing fstab.

 -- Petter Reinholdtsen <pere@hungry.com>  Wed, 10 Jul 2002 22:25:52 +0200

autopartkit (0.10) unstable; urgency=low

  * Reduced the minimum partition sizes to match the measured data.
  * Undo most code cleanup from 0.08 and 0.09, as it broke the program.
    Will debug it later.

 -- Petter Reinholdtsen <pere@hungry.com>  Wed, 10 Jul 2002 15:00:48 +0200

autopartkit (0.09) unstable; urgency=low

  * Forgot to remove the code made obsolete by normalize_requirements().

 -- Petter Reinholdtsen <pere@hungry.com>  Tue,  9 Jul 2002 01:22:04 +0200

autopartkit (0.08) unstable; urgency=low

  * Only create directories for the mounting points we use.
  * New function normalize_requirements() to make sure minsize <= maxsize,
    and that root (/) is the first entry in the table of requirements.
  * Code cleanup, moving some code into new function get_device_path().

 -- Petter Reinholdtsen <pere@hungry.com>  Tue,  9 Jul 2002 01:13:42 +0200

autopartkit (0.07) unstable; urgency=low

  * Add support for LVM partitions.
  * Avoid crash when running without root privileges.
  * Make it easier to change default filesystem.
  * Increase the minimum disk requirements for a workstation installation
    to match reality.

 -- Petter Reinholdtsen <pere@hungry.com>  Mon,  8 Jul 2002 09:21:21 +0200

autopartkit (0.06) unstable; urgency=low

  * Stop trying to strip the partition description. It doesn't work.
  * Correct the server partition description.

 -- Petter Reinholdtsen <pere@hungry.com>  Sun,  5 May 2002 13:39:02 +0200

autopartkit (0.05) unstable; urgency=low

    /etc/autopartkit/.
