Possible bug in debian arm?

Hi,

Because I think it's turn off-topic about module rt2570, I rename this message and I put what I did for getting a possible bug. Please confirm it or say to me what it's the solution.

First of all, I did _exactly_ these steps:
1) I have a nslu2 with usb harddisk connected.
2) I installed debian arm as described in http://www.cyrius.com/debian/nslu2/ (/ in the usb harddisk)
3) apt-get update
4) apt-get autoclean

# apt-get autoclean

7) Try another time:
# module-assistant prepare
/usr/bin/perl: error while loading shared libraries: /lib/libm.so.6: invalid ELF header

8) Reboot:
# reboot
Broadcast message from root@caixa (pts/0) (Sat May 17 23:23:15 2008):

The system is going down for reboot NOW!

9) After rebooting, the leds are in state: Ready/Status in red, Network in red. 10) I _can't_ enter in slug with ssh. The network does not work. It has static configuration. 11) I suspect that the apt-get install steps could put bad firmware and I tried to follow this [http://www.nslu2-linux.org/wiki/Main/UpSlug2] tutorial:
         a) I enter in upgrade mode
         b) upslug2 does not detect my slug.
c) Trying to do it, I suspect that upslug2 does not detect MAC address of slug.
         d) I can't get MAC address.
12) Trying to network and ssh server come up before, I follow [http://svn.debian.org/wsvn/pkg-nslu2-utils/trunk/debian/README.Debian?op=file&rev=0&sc=0], plug the disk in my computer and I change:

       mv /etc/rc2.d/S20ssh /etc/rcS.d/S41ssh
       mv /etc/rcS.d/S40networking /etc/rcS.d/S21networking
       mv /etc/rcS.d/S41ssh /etc/rcS.d/S21ssh

13) Reboot slug and all continues equal: I can't connect via ssh to my slug and the leds are in the same color 14) I plug usb disk to my computer and change static network configuration in /etc/network/interfaces to dhcp network, but all continues equal.

Any suggestions for solve this problem: I want to access via ssh to my slug. Is it a known bug?

Thanks a lot,
Xan.
