Hmm, so it really isn't detecting any ethernet ports. Does 'modprobe
forcedeth' do anything from console 2? Does it add anything to ifconfig
-a? I assume you are using the etch installer at this point (sarge
really isn't much good for most amd64 systems).
What about 'lspci -n|grep 0200'? (I don't remember if lspci is in the
unstaller anymore). Anything in 'dmesg' about ethernet?
