I've got this board, and I'm having no problems with audio.

I'm using an x86_64 kernel (64-bit), compiled from the Debian kernel
source package for version 2.6.7, with ALSA compiled as modules, and
no OSS (except for the ALSA OSS APIs). It's using the snd_via82xx
driver.

One thing that seems to give some problems is having a sound daemon
like esd or arts running, and using something that doesn't go through
that. I just kill off esd and arts, as there seems to be no trouble
with multiple programs using the sound device.
