First of all I'm the one shouting for instructions
about how to install bleeding edge Debian Sid
on alpha ( I`m BSD guy, not Linux one; I used OpenBSD on my DS25
until now).
I gess I have to reinstall whole system using Debian-Ports (at least that is not a big problem for me).
Also, I found the wiki: https://parisc.wiki.kernel.org/index.php/Debian_Ports_Installation The "Old installation medias (Debian Lenny) - notes by Tom Hogland" seems to be interesting. I hope it will work for alphas....

It's running fine on the build daemons. Well, that's as long as one is not running an SMP kernel as java/javac occasionally locks up when run under an SMP kernel. Instructions to install an Alpha from Debian-Ports was at the alpha-linux.org wiki but unfortunately that was all lost when a disk crapped itself and the operator had no backups :-( If people shout out for instructions I could probably resurrect them.
