Re: boot time order of scsi disks
I need the module after root, so I have put an
alias scsi_hostadapter aic7xxx into modules.conf. That has absolutely
no effect.
Is there anything else I need (e.g. a post-install line??) modprobe -c
sees the alias correctly.
Somewhat clueless,
Andew

So, how do I get the card recogized at boot time?
Is it before root or after root? If after, just put it into
/etc/modules.
If it's before, you'll need to use initrd.

Unix is user-friendly! It's just very picky about its friends.
