Hi,
It should be noted that my Miata is purely IDE based. there are no scsi interfaces in
the system. boot is dka0, a 20gb IDE drive, connected to primary/master of the CMD646
a 15gb hdd is connected primary/slave on the CMD646 (dka100)
there is the 12x toshiba ide cdrom connected to the secondary/slave port as dkb0
and the drive i'm trying to get working is a 80gb seagate bara IV behind a CMD680
I modified my .config to reflect the CMD640 config flags that you had set in your .config
but hit a snare, for some reason i now need an initrd.img yet didn't set the --initrd
flag on make-kpkg. I used the following command to compile the kernel:
make-kpkg --revision 2 kernel_image
I then went and installed kernel-image-2.4.20-3 again to try as it was the closest that
any other kernel has got so far this is the error message i got.
