memory issues

Memory prices being what they are, I decided to buy some more. I
have an LX164, currently with 64 megs. I bought a 128MB PC133 module, and
had another 128MB PC100 module lying about. I installed them into my box,
but it's not detected on boot up. The motherboard manual states that
memory may be of 100 MHz or faster speed. Do they have to be the same
speed?

Thanks in advance,
Michael.
