Hello, I downloaded the slink alpha. I made the CDs. But I can't boot on an alpha 1200. >>> b dka500 some messages ... aboot: unexpected object file format 13 ... aboot: Enter kernel name and arguments aboot: I use the /boot/generic/linux kernel name, but I get this message again. I read the README file and saw this machine isn't supported. Have I any chance? I prefer Debian, and I use it on a lot of PCs. Thank you for all your trouble! Krisztian
