gcc-2.8.0 uploaded :-)
Well, since everything seems to work fine, I uploaded gcc-2.8.0-0.2 today
complete with patches. For now, I believe everything will be in
"experimental", so it shouldn't replace the existing gcc.
I will be rebuilding gcc AGAIN with Michael Dorman's binutils-alpha
package tonight. I'll be calling that gcc-2.8.0-0.3, but I won't be
uploading it until his glibc-2.0.6 is uploaded.
I also submitted the Alpha patches to the gcc developers for inclusion in
the next gcc release (so that the crtxxxx files are built by default).
