if kids know mostly JAWS and/or NVDA, than I prefer to search Windows
alternative basicly. excuse me, I know, that linux ist chipper etc,
but who will help kids migrating to Orca and Linux? there is from my
point of view, I, who is not computer geek, but still has some
knoladge about it, Linux at this stage is not optimal choice
especially, if they have been working on Windows with NVDA or JAWS so
far.
if you search chip Windows system,then deny JAWS and promote NVDA.
also migration from JAWS to NVDA is also simpler. and yes, they will
be more productive on Windows until accessibility bugs in Linux have
not been resolved, documentation improved etc.
again this is my opinion based on my experience with linux GUI accessibility.
