Re: Amiga Woody Installation



Hi!

you wanted some information about my turbo board.
Well here is it:

The board is a E-Matrix 530 for Amiga 500.
68030 & 68882 @ 50 mhz, PS/2 ram up to 128 MB, kickrom socket
IDE controller: gayle
Fast SCSI-II controller: NCR, 53CF94-2

Note: not all boards are with the SCSI controller.

On my board is 24 MB and a 3.1 kickrom. There is no driver needed, it's
plug n play.


The amiboot line:

"amiboot-5.6 --model 5 -d -k linux.bin ro root=/dev/hda4 video=amifb:pal
nolangchooser ide=doubler"

The kernel can't find the IDE controller without the "--model 5" flag.
