Yeah, that seems right.
To get started, you can have a go at the simple setup:
https://debconf-video-team.pages.debian.net/ansible/simple_setup.html
This should get you far enough to have a voctomix ready for streaming.
Please poke us on IRC if things aren't working.

We have minidebconf infra up and running, let us know what IP ranges to open up for streaming and you should be able to get going.
