DVD+R reading problem

Okay, this may not be 100% on topic, but this was the closest list I found...

I have a data DVD+R which is multisession. Trying to read it under Linux
(Mandrake 9.1, I told you it wasn't 100% on topic) only shows me the files in
the first session.

I'm pretty certain this disk is finalized.

Reading it under Windows 98 on the same machine gives the same problem.
Reading it under Windows XP on a different machine works. From what little
information I can find, reading a multisession DVD+R under Windows requires
XP, so this behavior is expected.

However, I can't find any useful information about reading it under Linux.
I don't know if Linux currently can read multisession DVD+Rs or what tools
I need to use. (I tried linux-udf.sourceforge.net but it seemed to be vintage
1998 and useless). I don't even know if I just need to replace my drive--I
found one vague reference to DVD+R multisession disks only being readable in
DVD+R burners, but that can't be right.

cat /proc/sys/dev/cdrom/info says "CD-ROM information, Id: cdrom.c 3.12
2000/10/18" and tells me that the drive (a Creative 6X) can read multisession,
but I suspect that refers to multisession CD.

cat /prov/version tells me "Linux version 2.4.21-0.13mdk
(flepied@bi.mandrakesoft.com) (gcc version 3.2.2 (Mandrake Linux 9.1
3.2.2-3mdk)) #1 Fri Mar 14 15:08:06 EST 2003"

Can someone please help me with reading this disk?
