undefined reference to 'vCanvasPane::initialize(vWubdiw *, void *)'

Hello,
	I just upgraded to V 1.23 and I'm using cygwin b20.1 with gcc
2.95.2.  my app was compiling and running fine from version V1.22 but now
I get this error when linking

gcc -o STMVIEW.exe ./stmviewapp.o ./stmviewdlg.o ./stmviewcnv.o
./stmviewcmdw.o -e _mainCRTStartup -lspil -lvlcore -lV -llzo -lz -lstdc++
-lcomctl32 -mwindows
./stmviewcnv.o(.data$_vt$17STMVIEWCanvasPane+0x14):stmviewcnv.cpp:
undefined reference to `vCanvasPane::initialize(vWindow *, void *)'
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status make: *** [STMVIEW.exe] Error 1

Any idea what is wrong?
