Code Contributions

I've just added a new page to the main V GUI web page
for V User Contributions. On this page I want to provide
links to useful V Classes and other code provided by
you, the V community. Tom Hilinski has provided the
first example, a 2-D grid dialog box. Really neat.

So, if you have code or full C++ classes that you
think would be useful to others, here's the chance.
I know I've received contributions in the past,
and I've never really set up a good mechanism for
providing these to the community. So here's the
answer!

Contributions can be anything, really. Full classes
based on V, short examples showing how to accomplish
something, utility code to extend the capability
of V, anything. Ideally, the contributions will be
platform independent, but if you have Windows or X
specific code, don't let that stop you. Perhaps
someone else will port the code to other platforms.

Some of these contributions may eventually become
part of the official distribution, while I expect
most will remain as contributions.

If you have a contribution, please check out Tom's
contribution first. It would be great if all
contributions met this standard: a great html
description, and a zipped or gzipped tar file
of the source. i

See http://www.objectcentral.com/vgui/vcontrib.htm
for links to Tom's contribution.
