I'm using kernel 2.6.14.3 and nbd-client 2.8.4 When i conect the nbd device with the swap option, nbd-client nfs-server 9210 /dev/nbd0 -swap and run swapon /dev/nbd0, swapon lock up. The computer still runs, but the swap is not added. When i run nbd-client without the -swap option, it works, but i get occasional random lockups of the computer. Does anyone know whats going on? Do i nead an extra kernel patch? Thanks in advance.
