gettext is an "LSB" standard

http://linuxbase.alt.org/dbadmin/browse/interface.php?cmd=display-letter&prefix=gettext&Display=Display

where the others are not

http://linuxbase.alt.org/dbadmin/browse/interface.php?cmd=display-letter&prefix=dgettext&Display=Display

I don't have documented reasoning.
