Okay, you're right. We added -e in the perl days because folks wanted
-u to upgrade, and got upset when packages were removed. Sorry :-(

It does in the name, but I'm not going to pretend that the rpm CVS server
doesn't live at Red Hat, or that we aren't the primary maintainers.
