Be careful what you wish for, you might get it :-)
Looks like glibc 2.2.6 will have a new GLIBC_PRIVATE
tag for symbol versioning, and some formerly public
(versioned) symbols will move here.
I haven't got a clue what this will do for compatibility,
we probably ought to find out someday...
