That would be good, I think these have most of the more common
commands used during installation.

I've seen similar reports on other distributions. I can think of a
couple of possibilities:

- The symbol versions of the libraries from the libc packages were
  taken from an early glibc 2.2 when these functions were not yet
  versioned.

- There was a bug in the generation of the symbol versions in the spec
  database.

Could you check the first release of glibc 2.2 to see if those symbols
were versioned? If so then its most likely a bug in the specification
and needs to be referred to the spec list to work out what to do.
