How old is your macbook? The HTML rendering can be a little sluggish
in certain situations.
If there is a particular site/page that is slow let me know and I'll
see if I can improve it. For
the most part it is pretty snappy on my amd linux desktop. However, I
haven't tested as
much on macos because I only have limited access to macos machines.
The slowest machine I have tested on is a g4 mac mini, and it is quite
sluggish on it(this used
a ppc build I have not distributed). For really slow machines I
recommend disabling smooth
scrolling in the Options menu.
