Cat, you can always start your own gopher discussion on discord or wherever you think traction can be gained. I don’t think anyone here would oppose that.
But in the end, just about every esoteric mailing list I subscribe to (gopher, pdp-11, packet radio, diy efi, vintage jaguar, etc.) is catacomb-silent, with occasional bursts of static. I don’t think it’s a gopher problem. Most of the world doesn’t share our enthusiasm for eclectic topics like gopher. And tbh I sort of like it that way.
