A new gopher client, Molasses, is now available for general use. It is a multi-platform graphical client that runs on Windows, Mac OS, and Linux. You can download binaries from here:
Molasses is written in the Racket programming language, so the release binaries include the full Racket runtime.
Features include:
- Multiple, persistent tabs.
- Keyboard navigation of Gopher menus similar to Lynx.
- Bookmarks.
- Binary file downloads.
- View images within the application(JPEG, PNG, and GIF are supported).
- Open HTTP URLs(in Gopher, selectors starting with "GET /" or "URL:") in external browser.
- Supports Gemini protocol.
