Re: Who's got ec2-184-72-1-36.us-west-1.compute.amazonaws.com/184.72.1.36

It was thus said that the Great Peter Smith once stated:
> I’d be interested in what the malformed request is (and I can guarantee

> watching)

  My server is also getting "malformed" hits from 184.72.1.36:

Jul 14 13:44:04 daemon info 66.252.224.242 gopher remote=184.72.1.36
status=false request="\22\3\1\2\0\1\0\13\3]..."
Jul 14 13:44:04 daemon info 66.252.224.242 gopher remote=184.72.1.36
status=true request="Obsolete:Gopher:Src:bible.lua" bytes=6347

  All the "malformed" requests appear to follow the same pattern, and I
think it's similar to a previous complaint I had two months ago:

        https://lists.debian.org/gopher-project/2020/05/msg00007.html

  It's this "TLS über alles" being forced upon gopher that isn't going well
I think.
