Now normally I would agree with you because I'm an old beard :D and I really don't like to change my ways or anything really. But let me ask you this - how many changes are enough for me to release 2.6? 2.7? What comes after 2.9 - should it be 2.10 or 3.0? I understand versioning in projects where there are dozens of coders but it's quite insane and just a waste of time for a project of one.

I see your point. It's really up to you what you do.
