Indeed. People die. Companies get sold, and their services eventually
terminated or migrated to premium offers.
I'm sorry to insist on this leitmotiv again, but the only way to be sure
that no future disruptive changes happen to the mailing list is to... stio
using it, in favor of the Usenet. Possibly with a mail gateway for people
that are that much attached to email.
