Cool, I'd been considering the possibility of text based games via gopher. It seems well suited for it. Unfortunately, the wumpus totally got me.
The link your site gave for getting to the game <gopher://gopher.robsayers.com/1/start> didn't work for me, but <gopher://home.robsayers.com/1/start> got me there.
