heh.. that's because the linux format is a.out..
I just confirmed that gophervr compiles on my linux box and runs damn
fast (umm, maybe too fast) on a PIII-450..
Now, to just package this thing up for general consumption..
Anyone who wants a preview let me know by email and I'll send over a
binary (RH 7.x required)
